Most people online want to know how to make money online. It is a fair question to be asked, considering most people spend a few hours per day online so why not try to convert some of those hours into dollar bills?

One of the easiest ways that I have found to make money online is through Google.  Most people don’t understand how to make money with Google so they just pass up the chance of even trying. The fastest way making money with Google is through their advertising program called adsense or Adwords. Even if you have a family blog or a hobby blog on blogger.com you can use Google ads to generate extra income.

You need to first create a site, if you don’t already have one. Then you need to apply for a Google adsense account. If you are accepted into their program you will be able take the ads provided by Google and put them on your website. If someone happens to come to your website or blog and likes one of the ads displayed they will click on it and you will get paid.

You get paid per click with the adsense program and it can range from $.10 to $1.00 per click (on average) depending on how much the advertiser is willing to pay Google to have the ad in their program.

If you are looking to make some extra income online this would be a great place to start. If you are looking to replace your income and work from home you can still do it with the adsense program but it will take you a few years to get to any type of income that will support a family. Not to say that you can’t do it because I personally know people that make over $10,000 per month with this amazing program but they have been working really hard at it for the past 5 to 10 years.

Why should you know how to make money online?

If you are at all worried about the security of your job, even if you think that within a few years your job might be at risk, you should act now. You can start to make money on the internet within a few months. To make money online you do have to have some patients but over time you can create an amazing stream of residual income. It will take some time to replace your income but you should be able to start making a few bucks here and there.

You need to layout a good business plan. First off in what ways are you going to make money online?

1-      PPC or pay per click

2-      Affiliate income

3-      Membership site

4-      Sales of a product

5-      Sales of a service

6-       Other

There are many ways that you can make money online but these are the basics that you should start with. If you are going to get paid per click or through some affiliate sales you need to either be really good at writing or you need to have the money to outsource your writing. If you are going to start a membership site you need to find a really good programmer. A membership site is probably the hardest thing to do in this list but will have long term growth is you can figure out how to do it right.

For the sale of a product or service you really need to be able to make that product or service something that everyone needs and wants. You can do something that has been done before if you can figure out a way to market it. For example how many people have a book or video out that teaches you how to lose weight? There are millions out there but it still seems like every day there is a new and better way.
